A journey shared
Lets you be the armchair traveler
Is an awakening journey to the fullness that is life.
Oh beautiful Gaia, our greatest teacher and our conection to all that is.
Since we never know before hand which life events will have the most meaning and purpose, embracing all life’s journeys is essential. Some events will be life changing, providing the key directions for our spiritual growth. Each section of this website will illustrate many of my journeys leading to a response, perhaps, to the poet Mary Oliver's question "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
This website honours the value and purpose of all things and people of our planet; our interconnectedness; the interplay of life and death, disease and health as ordinary parts of our journey. I think the journey is the search for a purpose for my life, discovering it, learning how to fulfill it and continuing to embrace the blossoming wholeness. Then at the end of life there will be no regrets.
Becoming the caregiver for a loved one with Multiple Sclerosis and later providing palliative care for another, were key life journeys for me. Find in the Caregiver Journey Section a blog, articles and 4 caregiving educational movies. There is also a digital recording called "When
Someone Dies," which is intended for professional caregivers. These are available to play without cost. However, should you wish a hard-copy, please let me know.
The Travelling Gal section has a blog and video section for the armchair traveler to enjoy.
The Soul Journey section currently has a video called "The Journey" which is about discovering life after the death of a loved one. Another one set in Antarctica is about the spiritual awaken I discovered there. The blog entries here are also where I share my thoughts on everyday life.
Can a life journey not be influenced by gardening and gardens, nature and all things natural? This one could never have developed in the way it has without being close to the soil, the trees and the lessons of nature.
There is also an e-book telling the story of a fascinating woman. Someone who let me grow plants in her garden when I did not have one of my own.
Come share the journey with me. Let us communicate as we travel down this amazing path called life.
